Dody Flynn (Director)
Dody has been following her passion for dance since the age of six. She is a graduate and a Bachna Scholarship recipient of Dance Masters of America Teachers Training School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design.

Dody has been a certified member of Dance Masters of America, a highly respected dance teacher organization founded in 1894. As a member, she has served as 1st Vice-President, President and a Board Member of the organization's Dance Teachers' Club of Connecticut, Chapter 18. Also involved with the administration of Dance Masters of America at the National level, she holds, or has held, the following positions with them; Area Vice President overseeing the operations of six chapters, Parliamentarian, By-laws Committee, National Examiner, and along with Miss Amy, her sister, serves as head tabulator for the National Scholarship and Title Pageants at the Dance Masters of America National Convention. Additionally she is an administrator of their Teacher Training School held each summer at the State University of New York at Buffalo. As administrator she coordinates the "Test-to-Teach" certification program.

For the past eight seasons of the Danbury Music Centre's production of "The Nutcracker" she has worked as the props coordinator and for seven seasons as an Associate Choreographer.

Dody is also the director of the Dance Dimensions Competition teams. Her students have won many awards including judges' specials, high score, choreography, scholarships and title winners. She also has worked as an adjudicator for regional dance competitions. She resides in Sandy Hook with her husband and their two children Kira and Logan.

Kelly Bates
Kelly has been dancing for twenty years, starting at Dance Dimensions at the age of four. She is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a degree in History and certification in Elementary Education. While at Central Miss Kelly was a member of the International Honor Society in Education, Kappa Delta Pi, as well as a member of DanCentral, a student dance group. During this time she had the opportunity to dance with The Albano Ballet at Mohegan Sun Arena and danced twice at the 5X5 College Dance Festival at St. Joseph's College. Kelly currently works in the Danbury Public School System. She is looking forward to her fifth season as an instructor at Dance Dimensions.

Lauren D’Aquila
Lauren began her dance training at Dance Dimensions at the age of 5. For 13 years she studied Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Lyric, Jazz and Hip Hop. At age 6 she joined the Dance Dimensions Competition Team and competed for 13 years, and has done choreography for the competition dancers. She has attended numerous workshops and national conventions thru Dance Masters of America and Dance Educators of America. Lauren danced in the Danbury Music Centre's production of The Nutcracker for 8 years in various roles such as Lead Chinese, Marzipan and Snow Court. Lauren was a member of the Brookfield High School dance team for four years. Lauren loves being part of the Dance Dimensions teaching staff.

Amy DeLoughy
Amy has been studying dance since the age of four and has been a staff member of Dance Dimensions for the past 18 years. She is a certified member of Dance Masters of America as well as the Treasurer of Dance Teachers Club of Connecticut, Chapter 18 of the national organization. Amy is a National Examiner for DMA and serves as Head Tabulator for Scholarship and National Title Pageants for the Dance Masters National Convention. Amy also serves as chairperson for the finance committee. Amy is the Assistant Director of the Dance Dimensions Competition Teams, winning many awards including high score, choreography, judges' specials, scholarship and title winners. Amy holds a Business Administration in Accounting Degree and is employed as the Assistant Controller for the Markets COE at GE Capital in Danbury, CT. She resides in Sandy Hook with her husband Mark and their three children, Ashlyn, Mark and Riley as well as her nieces Brianna and Hanna Linden.

Michelle Dennis
Michelle began dancing at Dance Dimensions at the age of three and has studied ballet, points, jazz, modern, lyric, hip hop and tap. At the age of six she became a member of the competition team. She is a graduate of Springfield College with a Bachelors Degree in Dance and a minor in Business Management. While at Springfield College she was a member of the Springfield College Dancers where she served two years on the board as secretary and President. During her senior year Michelle was the co-director of their spring student dance concert. To further her dance education she has attended national dance conventions and workshops through Dance Masters of America, New England's College Dance Festival and the National Dance Educators Conference. Michelle currently works as an administrative assistant at Putnam Hospital in New York. This will be Miss Michelle's 22nd year at Dance Dimensions and she is looking forward to another fantastic season.

Carly DePaul
Carly is a Deans List student at Western Connecticut State University majoring in social work. She is also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the WCSU Social Work Club. This is Carly's 16th year at Dance Dimensions where she was both a student and a member of their award winning competition teams. Carly also danced for eight years with the Danbury Music Centre's "Nutcracker" and in 2010 was an assistant stage manager for the production. In her spare time, Miss Carly takes tap and hip hop classes at Broadway Dance Centre in New York City.

Marissa Fraser
Marissa has been taking dance at Dance Dimensions since the age of three, when the studio first opened. She was a member of the competition teams for two years under the direction of Beverly Legge. After high school she began teaching classes at Dance Dimensions. Marissa has also earned her Dance Masters of America certification in Ballet. Miss Marissa is a graduate from Western Connecticut State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and History as well as Masters Degree in Education with an option in Reading. She currently is a literacy tutor in Regional District #12. Miss Marissa resides in Brookfield with her husband Michael.

Sarah Loschiavo
Sarah has been dancing in and around Connecticut since the age of four. She started as a competition member at Dance Dimensions at the age of eight and competed until her senior year of high school. Sarah has studied ballet under the direction of Dody Flynn as well as Beverly Legge. Sarah was also involved in the Danbury Nutcracker since the age of nine until graduating high school, performing in roles such as Arabian Queen and Lead Chinese. She then furthered her dance education at the University of New Hampshire as a member of the Ballet and Jazz Dance Company. She has also participated in student-choreographed shows each semester of college. In May, 2013 she will graduate from the University of New Hampshire with a BS degree in Accounting.

Anna-Lee Pflomm
Anna-Lee has been taking classes at Dance Dimensions since the age of four; primarily training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern and Hip Hop.  She was a member of Dance Dimensions Competition Team and Brookfield HS dance team for ten and four years respectively. Anna-Lee continued her dance education through college, was a member of the Bloomsburg University Dance Team and taught her peers in their student run Dance Ensemble. After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree, Miss Anna is thrilled to return to her home studio as a dance teacher.

Paula Taylor
Paula began studying dance at three years old. She has studied tap, jazz, modern dance and yoga. Miss Paula was the Co-Founder and Co-President of the Dance Ensemble at Fairfield University. She has more than 20 years of experience teaching dance. Miss Paula is a certified yoga instructor. She especially enjoys working with young dancers and introducing students of all ages to experience modern dance and yoga. Miss Paula has a B.S. in Physics from Fairfield University. She resides in New Milford with her husband, Chris, and three children, Eli, Kimi, and Scott.

Erica Thompson
Erica has been dancing since the age of three and has studied tap, jazz, ballet, modern and Hawaiian dance. Miss Erica has taught at Dance Dimensions for 12 years. She loves sharing her passion for dance with young dancers. For the past three years, she enjoyed choreographing dances for the new Dance Dimensions Recreational Competition Teams. Miss Erica is an active member of Dance Masters of America Dance Teachers' Club of CT Chapter 18. Miss Erica holds a BA in Liberal Studies with a minor in dance from California State University at San Jose. She is a certified elementary teacher working in a Danbury Public School. She lives in New Milford with her husband, Matt, and two children, Justin and Carleen.
